Welcome to Crazy Critters — a small family owned operation with one simple mission: keeping your insect-eating animals healthy, happy and maybe even a little spoiled.

We specialise in live feeder insects for frogs, lizards, scorpions, spiders, turtles... basically any creature that looks at a critter and thinks, "mmm...tasty!".

And no, it's not just the unusual pets... birds, chickens and predatory fish love them too. Protein-packed and foolproof... it's hard to see a downside.

And then there's the struggle: your animals may either eat anything you put in front of them... or treat their meal like it's some kind of culinary insult. Either way, we've got you covered.

To keep even the fussiest eaters satisfied, we're working towards a variety of feeder insects — but in the interest of realism (and self-control), we're starting with:

• wood roaches

With over 15 years combined experience raising insect colonies, we've learned a thing or two about crickets, mealworms (both species) and wood roaches.

We've also learned that a little patience, a lot of care... and dare we say it... a touch of humour goes a long way when feeding tiny predators.

In case you're wondering: the sole, unquestionable reason we drag our insanely insect-obsessed souls out of bed each morning... the very meaning of our existence? To build Crazy Critters into the kind of live feeder insect supplier legends are made of... or at least a household name among insect-eaters.

We are a modest team by design but have enough ambition (and caffeine) to get there, eventually. We aim to offer fair prices, a friendly attitude, and a little something for our loyal customers, even if we're still figuring out how the big guys do all their fancy stuff.

Our live insects are available for purchase online in different sizes and quantities — because, you know... convenience.

Orders go out on Mondays and Tuesdays, with inventory updates usually around Thursday-ish.

**Full Disclosure: we are operating with an alarming number of insects and not much of an office. Most days are spent wrangling insects and trying to get orders out before they start crawling away. That means our customer service model is mostly DIY, so if you're after personalised service... you might be disappointed. But we do our best to keep you updated without anyone wanting to pull their hair out.

Speaking of updates... any important ones, if you ever need them, usually appear on the website homepage and our Announcements page.

And if shipping is delayed, we try to send a bulk email (tech willing).

For everything else the FAQs are your best friend... they answer pretty much every question we could think of, from product availability and payments to delivery, so you don't have to hunt down an actual human.
