Wheat Bran | Organic


Organic wheat bran is a great source of food and suitable substrate for both our common mealworms (Tenebrio molitor) and giant mealworms (Zophobas morio). 

After receiving a number of enquiries from customers about the best option for mealworm substrate (bedding / food), we have decided to make our organic wheat bran available for purchase through the website. 


This product needs to be stored in a refrigerator.  

 

Please note that any grain based product from your local produce or supermarket, including wheat bran, rolled oats etc. can be used but in our experience, we find that the finer wheat pollard or fluffy, flakes of wheat bran are preferred by mealworms.

Crazy Critters offer both wheat bran and wheat pollard in 250g and 500g bags for your convenience.
