Our giant mealworms are available in 3 different sizes: 


    These are a tropical species that are naturally much larger than common mealworms. 


    Crazy Critters giants are not hormone-treated.

    There are approximately 150 medium giants per 25g of weight.

     

    It is recommended to only feed our medium giants to adult (or full-size) medium-to-large animals, such as:

    • bearded dragons
       
    • blue tongue lizards

    • chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowls

    • cockatoos, galahs, kookaburras and magpies 

    • forest dragons

    • gliders and possums

    • green tree frogs

    • predatory fish

    • small mammals

    • turtles

    • water dragons; and 

    • wildlife 
              

    STORAGE

     

    We recommend that you: 

    • unpack your giants on arrival to reduce the risk of losses

    • DO NOT REFRIGERATE! 
      Giants are a tropical species that can not tolerate temperatures of 12˚C or lower for any extended periods

    • when feeding your pet: remove giants from their storage container 24-48 hours beforehand and gutload
