Turning Pets Into Predators Since... Forever

Turning Pets Into Predators Since... Forever

Whether you clicked out of genuine interest or sheer confusion, we’re glad you're here.

Today we’re chatting about our our delightfully twisted, no-nonsense tagline that tells it like it is.

With minimal rambling and no critter puns we can’t justify (okay... maybe a few), let’s dive in.

If you’ve ever Googled “insect farm motto,” you’ve probably stumbled across “We Breed ’Em, You Feed ’Em.”

Yes. It’s clever. It’s catchy. It’s taken.

So we had to come up with our own.

And for a while there, we flirted with the idea of sounding very professional. Very corporate cliché.

You know the type:

Empowering the Future of Sustainable Protein

It sounds impressive.
It feels important.
It could be attached to almost any company with a green logo. (Hi, hello, yes that’s us).
Because this kind of language is everywhere now, so common it’s basically wallpaper for websites—unavoidable and ultimately forgettable.

And that right there... is the problem.

Business taglines like this are designed to offend no one, excite no one, and explain nothing.

It promises everything and delivers… well, nothing. Except maybe a mild headache and and the vague sense that you’re meant to nod seriously about ‘the future of protein.’

It’s basically the marketing equivalent of saying: “We do things. In a way. For the future.”

Meanwhile, your pets are sitting there, blissfully unaware of the slow-motion meltdown that is corporate marketing.

They don’t care about sustainability.
They’re not losing sleep over carbon footprints.
They just want to eat—and ideally, to eat in a way that feels like pure, instinct-driven chaos.

That’s when it hit us. Why not embrace the truth? Pets are predators. It’s what they do.

Sure, your gecko looks cute and innocent when it’s lounging in its terrarium, but deep down it’s a tiny predator.
Your tarantula? a furry nightmare with legs.
Even your supposedly domesticated frog has a belly full of bugs and zero shame.

Enter our tagline:

Turning Pets into Predators Since… Forever.”

Slightly less polished.
Slightly more descriptive.
Slightly more honest—in a dark-humour kind of way.
And, most importantly, much catchier.

Because, whatever the pet:
They want to hunt. They want movement. They want live food.

And that’s where we come in.

We breed insects. You feed them. Nature takes over. It really is that simple.

And there’s something gloriously satisfying about watching a lizard actually work for its dinner instead of politely nibbling at a flavourless cube of processed food while you scroll through Instagram.

Some might say it’s a little dramatic. Maybe even a slightly unhinged. To that we say: exactly.

We’re not here to promise you the world.
We’re not here to make your pet’s diet sound like a TED Talk.
We’re here to give pets exactly what they instinctively crave, and to do it in a way that doesn’t require a six-month marketing strategy to explain.

Because the truth is: pets don’t want philosophy. Pets want action. They want instinct. They want the thrill of the chase—even if it’s just a cricket in a little plastic container.

And that’s why “Turning Pets into Predators Since… Forever” works.

It doesn’t need to be elegant or corporate-approved.
It doesn’t need to promise anything other than what we actually do—and what pets actually want.

It will make sense to those who matter most: the pets, and the humans who know that pets deserve to live a little wild. Reptile enthusiasts. Casual gawkers. Even the people who just came for the memes and stayed because they’re slightly disturbed.

And let’s be honest, it’s fun to say. It rolls off the tongue. It has rhythm. It’s got that dramatic ellipsis that lets you pause and imagine a pet slowly evolving into a tiny, judgemental predator right before your eyes. It’s theatrical. It’s slightly pretentious. It's perfect.

Because at the end of the day, our philosophy is simple: if you want your pets happy, healthy, and thriving, let them be predators.

Let them move.
Let them hunt.
Let them connect with the instincts that evolution built them for.

And if that means our tagline reads like a dark comic, so be it. We’ll wear it proudly.

After all, we’ve been Turning Pets Into Predators Since… Forever (or at least 2020). And frankly, we don’t see any reason to stop now.
