Crazy Critters is a small family-owned and operated business specialising in live food for insectivorous animals like frogs, lizards, scorpions, spiders and turtles.
Live insects are a good source of protein and are also enjoyed by birds, chickens and predatory fish.Â
We understand that a consistent and regular supply of live insects is vital to keeping your pets happy and healthy!Â
We also know every pet is different. Some will have no trouble eating anything and everything available; While others are fussier, having a strong preference for a particular insect over another.
To help you provide your pet with a balanced diet, we aim to offer a large selection of feeder insects so even the fussiest of eaters will be satisfied. Over time our insect range will include:
- black soldier fly larvae (BSFL)
- crickets
- common mealworms
- giant mealworms
- wood roachesÂ
We have more than 15 years experience raising various insect colonies, including crickets, mealworms (both species), wood roaches and more recently black soldier flies.
Our goal is for Crazy Critters to become a leading supplier of live insects by offering great prices, providing friendly customer service and rewarding our loyal customers.Â
Live insects are available to purchase through the website in different sizes and quantities.Â
Orders are sent on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday each week, and inventory updated on Wednesdays.
