Important Changes To Shipping Policy


Due to the current delays of express shipping with Australia Post we have decided to make the following changes to our shipping policy: 

  • interstate orders are suspended

  • we will continue to send orders with a Queensland shipping address on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week

  • orders are not sent on Thursday or Friday.

This will commence Monday, 25 October 2021.

Australia Post has provided us with updated information about current shipping delays being as long as 3 or 4 weeks to NSW and VIC.

For this reason, all interstate orders are currently suspended.

Please note our website no longer processes interstate orders.

However, orders to South Australia are being assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be accepted depending on current delivery timeframes. 

So that we are able to confirm whether (or not) we are able to fulfil your order, please send us an email confirming the desired products including quantity, and your complete shipping address.
All accepted interstate orders will be prepared manually and an invoice sent by email.

Current Shipping Delays

We have been advised by Australia Post the current delays are primarily a result of ongoing Covid-19 disruptions and limited domestic flights which are relied on to carry most parcels. 

An increase in online shopping over recent months has created an unprecedented surge in parcel deliveries and combined with fewer domestic flights, is limiting the air freight capacity of Australia Post. 

Australia Post has assured us that they are sorting parcels 24/7 and will continue to deliver on weekends (in some areas) to minimise the delays as much as possible. 

However, we have been advised Australia Post have warehouses in NSW and VIC "filled to the roof" still waiting to be processed. 

Australia Post have also suggested that while the occasional parcel may be delivered within the usual delivery timeframes, it is highly likely that all parcels sent to NSW and VIC will experience a delay of 2 or 3 weeks beyond the initial estimated delivery date.

Tracking Information

We are manually monitoring the deliveries of all customer orders and will provide updates about any delays as soon as possible.

Please also note that it is not uncommon for express post tracking to skip the "in-between" scans. This means you may not see any changes to the tracking history after the initial "received by" status for some time. The next status updates are likely to be "on board for delivery" followed by "delivered". 

Occasionally, you may also see an additional one or two status updates including "arrived at Brisbane facility" or "received by [local] facility" etc. 

Delayed Status

In the event your order is not delivered by the estimated delivery date, the Australia Post system automatically updates your tracking history with a "delayed" status. 

When this happens, you will see a generic message that reads "... delivered within 5 business days". 

Usually, we see deliveries arrive within 1 or 2 days of the estimated delivery date. 

With deliveries continuing on Saturday and Sunday, it is possible your order will arrive over the weekend.
